Kristen Syring joined the lab in 2013 and graduated in 2017. Kristen grew up in Chicago and, prior to moving to Nashville, graduated from St. Ambrose University. Kristen is now an Associate Consultant for Global Scientific Communications at Eli Lilly.
Kayla (Boortz) Young joined the lab in 2012 and graduated in 2016. Kayla grew up in Denver and, prior to moving to Nashville, graduated from the University of Puget Sound. Currently, Kayla serves as the Director of Operations, VP of Operations and Chief Operations Officer of Phase Genomics.
Karin Bosma joined the lab in 2015 and graduated in 2020. Karin grew up in Walnut Creek, CA and completed her undergraduate studies at Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, GA. Prior to joining the lab, she worked at HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology. Currently, Karin is a postdoctoral fellow at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in the lab of Maureen Gannon.
