Chancellor Faculty Fellow (2023-2025)Lauren completed her Ph.D. at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology and Trinity College, Cambridge, UK. She worked as a consultant for the Boston Consulting Group in London before joining David Owen’s lab in Cambridge for postdoctoral work. When not in the lab, Lauren enjoys outdoor activities (hiking, running, swimming), music, wine tasting, and spending time with her two children, husband, and huge Southern/Anglo family.Amy Kendall is our talented lab manager. She holds a Master’s degree and 25+ years of experience at Vanderbilt. Amy’s expertise lies in everything we do, including molecular cloning; protein expression and purification; cell culture; and multiple structural methods, including X-ray crystallography and electron microscopy. Amy is currently leading our single particle cryoEM studies in the lab.Mintu Chandra, Ph.D., is a research assistant professor working on endosomal coat assembly. He completed his Ph.D. in structural biology & biophysics at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) followed by a postdoc with Brett Collins at the IMB (Queensland). He is our membrane expert and biochemist/structural biologist extraordinaire!Lab alumni
