Dilek and Chris travel to Cancun!
Chris and Dilek got to travel to Cancun in order to present their PSI research at AiMES 2018. This was a joint conference that included the 234th Meeting of The Electrochemical Society (ECS), the XXXIII Congreso de la Sociedad Mexicana de Electroquimica (SMEQ), and the 11th Meeting of the Mexico Section of the Electrochemical Society, with the technical co-sponsorship of the Sociedade Brasileira de Eletroquímica e Eletroanalítica (SBEE), the Sociedad Iberoamericana de Electroquímica (SIBAE), and the Asociación Colombiana de Electroquímica (ACEQ).
Part of the work Dilek presented on at the conference can be found in her paper published in Langmuir. You can find it here. Chris presented on his attempt at synthesizing carbon dots and doping them in an attempt to better electron transfer with Photosystem I for an all carbon solar cell.
