A Walk Down Historic Jefferson Street is<br \/>\nnot just a personal memoir but an historical account of Jefferson Street in<br \/>\nNashville, TN, during the 1940&#8217;s through the early 1970&#8217;s. It specifically<br \/>\nhighlights a gamut of businesses and residents who called the street their<br \/>\nhome. Special emphasis is also placed on the unique culture of the street that<br \/>\nfostered soulful venues and budding musical greats, top quality teachers and<br \/>\neducational facilities, and unwavering strength amid a very socio-economic<br \/>\ndiverse community.
