They receive training in both content specific special education theory, policy, and practice and training in research methods and statistics.<\/p>\n<h2>Developing Talkers<\/h2>\n<p>Developing Talkers: Building Effective Teachers of Academic Language Skills&#8221;: This work, done in collaboration with the Children&#8217;s Learning Institute, will evaluate the impact of Developing Talkers (DT), an intervention designed to improve teacher facilitation of academic language skills, and the academic language skills of kindergarten and first grade students. <a Evidence (IDARE) is an active project that focuses on exploring racial differences in the effectiveness of supplemental reading interventions providing intensive, targeted support to students with or
