Dr. Lin has been hosting Gencyber Security camp for K-12 teachers since 2015. This teacher camp is a part of the GenCyber program<\/a><\/span>. It is sponsored by both National Science Foundation (NSF) and National Security Agency (NSA). There were 43 camps covering 16 states in 2015. We were honored to host the very first and only camp in Missouri in 2015 which turned out very successful. Since then, we have hosted the camp for 4 more times.<\/p>\n

In each of our camp, we host about 20 teachers teaching K-12. The goal of our camp is to enhance cybersecurity awareness and assist professional development of K-12 teachers through: (1) Learning key concepts of cybersecurity, and (2) designing curriculum to train our next generation cybersecurity workforce starting as early as kindergarten.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
