Jun-song’s paper is accepted at Yeast
Jun. 6, 2018—Jun-song's paper has been accepted at Yeast and is now published ahead of print. Jun-song has been working to complete the S. pombe haploid deletion collection. In this paper, he made 90 mutants and from these identified genes involved in cell wall integrity, cytokinesis, chromosome segregation and DNA metabolism.

Chloe Snider is awarded an AHA fellowship
Jun. 6, 2018—Congratulations, Chloe! Chloe received a 2-year predoctoral fellowship award from the American Heart Association for her research project, "Investigating molecular mechanisms underlying formation and anchoring of the cytokinetic ring."
