Sammi received her B.S. in biochemistry at Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ. Her research focuses on the development and optimization of the Instrumented Fetal Membrane-on-Chip (IFMOC), which is a fully online organ-on-chip system to study the physiological mechanisms of preterm birth.
